About the Internship

Our 6-month internship program offers hands-on experience in research-driven projects. Interns work on rfSE Club, Sari, and initiatives in agriculture and tourism. No stipend is provided for the first 6 months, but exceptional performers may receive a full-time offer with ESOPs after 6 months. This is a chance to grow, learn, and contribute to Himachal’s future.

About

Design and build hardware for AlpKid ecosystem devices, like the AlpKid QR machine. Work on PCB design, component selection, and testing for offline payment systems, agriculture sensors, and tourism gadgets.

Requirements

• Exceptional at communication skills
• Good at typing with at least 40 WPS
• Exceptional at doing research
• Passion to do something different in the Electronics field

Focus Areas

• Develop PCBs for offline QR machines using KiCad
• Integrate ESP32 with Quectel and NFC for payment systems
• Optimize power usage for battery-operated devices
• Test and iterate prototypes in days, not months
• Support agriculture sensor hardware

Ideal Candidate

• Strong skills in PCB design, microcontroller programming (C), and hardware debugging
• Basic knowledge of math, English, and computers; research skills in electronics
• Familiarity with cellular/NFC tech or power optimization is a plus
• Eager to learn, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment

Interview Process

After applying, we review your resume and responses. Shortlisted candidates get a 15-minute phone call. The main process includes:

Process completes within one week via Google Meet.

Compensation

No stipend for the first 6 months. Exceptional interns may receive a full-time offer with ESOPs after 6 months.
